Hey all -

This past weekend as I headed to mountains, my clutch went out on my 1989 HJ61. I am able to fix it myself but am unsure of which clutch to purchase.

Should I purchase a clutch that was specifically made for the HJ61 from Australia or Japan?

OR

Is there a new clutch I can purchase here in the states that would work with an HJ61?

Would love any advice!

Well, you can get the pilot bearing, the clutch disc and the clutch cover/pressure plate in the US market.

The throwout bearing is not available in the US market from Toyota, but you can probably match up the bearing by cross-referencing the bearing part number on the bearing itself at any good bearing house and they should be able to get you what you need.

Part numbers you will need:

90363-15004 (pilot bearing)

31250-60481 (disc)

31210-60100 (cover)

Thanks for the tips, guys. I ended up getting the original machined and we're ready to rock n' roll. Pain in the butt though.
