Just for fun. I started a series of very short nature documentaries on YouTube. It's about the animals that live in our backyard in Suriname, South America. No, it has nothing to do with IH8MUD, except our cruiser is playing a little roll in it:D
Oh, this first 'documentary' is about an anaconda I had for a while, last year. Enjoy it.

P.S.: keeping a living anconda in your hands is almost as manly as driving a 60! :bounce: (For the bright bulbs: yes, I know, this one is dead. In the video you'll see the livin one:)

Well done. I enjoyed it. Thanks, and keep them coming.

I think next week I have the second one ready. About a bird spider or a big lizard. Don't know yet. Already have the raw vids.

VERY cool. Thanks! Glad that you appreciate the Anaconda. Our (U.S. / European) culture is one of the few on the planet that fears snakes. Most cultures revere them! Nice sounding diesel too!

Yeah, it's stupid to be afraid of non poisenous snakes. They are beautiful animals. They'll always try to avoid you anyway. Okay, revering them is just as stupid, but a little more respect for nature would be nice. Although I must admit that I kill every wild dog that I see around the house (do dogs belong to nature as well?:)
And yes, the diesel runs like a sawing machine, even after 366,000 kms. And it uses almost no oil. If the rest of my cruiser would be as good as the engine, I would be a happy man:)

why do you kill wild dogs?

I'm assuming he's speaking of feral dogs, not some species of wild dog indigenous to that region. If that's the case, you kill them for the same reason you kill feral cats and pigs, because they're destructive to native flora and fauna.
Tapage is right. Much as I enjoyed the video and look forward to seeing more of Suriname and the big HJ, this should be in Chat.

So I'll have to turn this thread into a technical one to let it earn it's place here, right?:D
Ehm... let's see... Did you see my new emergency brake cable? No? Watch the video again. It's unbelievable, but I found a guy here that makes them good and fast.

why do you kill wild dogs?

Well, they are not really wild dogs. People here have dogs for protection/warning, but most of them don't take care of their dog. So the dogs **** around like rabbits, make multitudes of little dogs, that grow up, and so on, and so on. And nobody takes care of them and often they form dangerous gangs. And when they are hungry, they come to out house to ravage the garbage. Every night. So that we find our garbage through the whole frontyard every morning. And they sleep under our house. And s*** and piss there!:bang::mad::crybaby:
So when I can get within machete reach of them, or close enough to hit them with something heavy, I send them to dog heaven (luckely dogs don't go to heaven, otherwise we would be stuck with them for eternity.)
So now you the dog lovers maybe see me as a heartless monster, but wait with judging me till you are in the same situation.:D
