just acquired a 86 hj60 that have been sitting for about 8 yrs, got it running, compression about 380 psi warm, but I can see some blowby at the crankcase vent hose on top of the valve cover to intake,
Can someone with a good 2 H check how much blowby is there??

I assess blowby at the oil filler cap.. here's two extremes..

My current 2H after a rebuild (almost zero blowby)..

Another 2H at the end of its life..

So I took the oil filler cap off, with the crankcase on top of the valve over on,there’s no blowby at the oil cap, with the valve crankcase hose off, I can see some blowby, it’s like the intake is sucking the blowby through the hose.
Can you disconnect the crankcase vent hose and see if the blowby at the oil cap increases?
Thanks

Honestly.. if you've got no blowby coming out of the cap you're done.. its all good.
