A fellow showed up today to purchase a used OME heavey lift kit off me, he pulled up in the most pristine HJ 60 I have ever laid eyes on.

He does some type of oiling to the frame and panels every two years and does not drive it throught the winter.

I swear it looks almost as good as it would of when it rolled of the show room floor.

Anyways my question(not to make this chat), he wants to purchase the OME kit and wants a smooth ride, should I pull two overloads off the rear springs and one short spring off the front pack to make it a smoother ride?

the over loads do nothing to the ride when empty, order the light duty kit and if it is still too harsh then remove one leaf front and rear. the must be gass units, the foam (if OME offers them) are a bitch.
i would recommend the Dakar or Terrain tamer...
cheers

how much money does he want to spend? I would think about stock springs and do an airride system. I was looking at these Bridgestone air ride systems this weekend. You could pull a few leafs out to get he soft feel and adjust the firmness accordingly with air system.

For a non wheeler this would a good thing. Run a parabolic spring or real light springs with the air.......

if you needed to tow or carry some weight, just turn up the dial...
