G'day!
As much as I loved the 2F Motor, when it decided to think oil is a good idea for coolant, and coolant for lubrication, it was time for something my kind of style.
Deciding on swapping in the 2H Toyota Motor from a HJ60, 5 Speed Gearbox and EDIC Control. Also coupled too the 2H is a DTS Turbo Kit.
Officially only running under it's own power for about one month now, but super happy with the noise of this thing.

Following this thread I hope to share how this build travels, as well as small mishaps along the way for the person who's doing their first conversion.

Short List to finish off
- Water Sensor + Gauge
- Oil Pressure Sensor + Gauge
- Gearbox Temp Sensor + Gauge
- AC Wiring.
- Throttle Cable + Bracket.
- EGT Gauge + Sensor.
- Boost Gauge + Sensor.
- Vacuum Tank.
- Catch Can.
- Exhaust / Dump Pipe.

Thanks Rosco! I was impressed when I saw a FJ55 with a 12HT Motor from the HJ62. The 2H was a cheaper option at the time but a pretty easy swap if this one fails.

I have a pic of 55 with a 13BT or 14BT in it somewhere. Its a former special forces landcruiser owned by Indonesia. Cant seem to find it right now.

That would be amazing to see!
