99.9% sure that yes it's the 7th HJ47 ever built. It has some interesting factory parts too. I'll post up a separate thread later. Like dual element style fuel filter setup, dual(?) factory oil filters, cyclonic air filter interior, etc.

Wow ! #7 Nice overlanding pics.

Nice pics! Where was that?

Thanks! We did an all-dirt road loop from Burns, Oregon through the Steens up northwest to Portland, including crossing the Cascades via dirt road. We found old military wagon roads, roads totally unused for years...awesome. The desert shot is the Alvord Desert.

And no GPS was allowed!! Maps only. We carried a ton for cross reference. Way cool. Such a great trip. Troop ran great, but lost power in the passes... black smoke and doing 40mph. But it soldiered on. Awesome rig.

Thats unreal! No7, maybe the earliest one still on the road?
Does remind me of a great line from Blazing Saddles. Lol.

you need to smile more ...

looks like a great time, i love the old troopies ... it would be a tough decision between a 45/47 and a 75 series.

<turbo, you will enjoy the old girl even more and she will like it as well.>

That's funny, but true...in all these pics no smile!

And yeah, MUST turbo this rig! Got a reco on a 2H turbo setup available in USA?

I'm super happy with my AXT Turbo. Not sure what distribution is like in the states for those...

Nice Troopster - it deserves a nice turbo!
