HJ47 Bodyshop Fit - Full Hardtop Mockup Before Paint
Edit: Originally I started this thread to ask for tips/tricks, but didn't get any responses. I'm creating a new build thread with pics as we (nearly) completed the mockup the last couple days.
1984 HJ47 Troopy. I'm slowly doing a frame off restore and at this point the tub (interior painted, exterior prepped for paint) is mounted on the painted rolling chassis. It's been apart over two years and the the top has been off for four years, so how it went together is not exactly fresh in my mind.
My bodyshop finally called this morning and they are ready to do the mockup of the sides/doors/hood/fenders/windshield/roof before they paint. They are an experienced shop, but don't specialize in land cruisers. The roof fiberglass is good, but the rusted out roof drip rail is being replaced by a new CCOT 8-10 piece weld together kit.
