Glad to be of help to you.

I think that if you want a set up with a similar feel to the 60 series with power steering, you might want to consider doing the 60 series steering box conversion on the 47. Part of the reason that the power steering effect is modest associates to the extended 40 series linkages which absorb some of the energy used to turn the wheel.

Oh yeah, thats all part of the plan, do a full 60/75 series power steering conversion and get rid of some linkages. :steer:

Your laughing , if that setup came out of your rig that is the later braket from 84on 60 and HJ75 you can use use the later pump and idler braket off a hj75.

That is what I am thinking. :D Now to find one. The search continues, should be plenty off those around. My brother in law has a hj75, I wonder if he will notice it missing:hhmm:

Gotta love MUD, heaps of info and people not afraid to share it.

Well i got the bracket , pump and ppullies out of a 1984 60s and bolted it all in ,very tight for space but it fitted great no mods. Thanks for the info.
A copple of questions
1 what fan blade did u use, a 60series?
2 where did you mount the oilresvore ?
3 what did you do to the hoses to get them to fit ?
4 where did you run the hoses ? May be a copple of pickies.
A nother bit of info, if your cross sharft is hadit in the 40s power stear box just grab a hilux [minni truck] one from a leaf frountend .
They fit great.
Happy to oblige. You can see how it has a more bent shape than the later 60 series, which extends out like a flattened wing. The bolt head you see in the first picture is for mounting the vane pump.
