HJ47 Fuel Economy (1 Viewer)

Just curious..... What kind of gas mileage does an HJ47 get? I figured the diesel would make it relatively high.

I saw one for sale and it said it carries 11 people .

If I had the money, that is probably what I would buy.

Low 20s? Is it the H or 2H motor? Low 20s is typical for the H series I believe, and that's with a tuned engine with fresh injectors etc.

Well, I've gotten 25 mpg on long freeway stretches. A little less when wheeling

The injectors are key--if they need a rebuild, the mileage in a diesel will tank fast. Well, it will still beat out a 2F hands down, but that's not too hard now is it?

Just some info on Cruiser engine specs, might help you with which engine if you decide on going to the dark (& smelly) side!
