Hey guys, is there any history to the half door is it just a modern adjustment of the stock design?

The two piece door up to 1/75 could remove the window channel and glass and not intended as half that what you would have. While not actually a Toyota product Toyota did offer to their dealers in the mid sixties a Husky soft top that had two piece soft doors.

I like the look of a topless FJ40 with only the lower portion of the early doors--no window frames. I would love to find a set of decent lower door panels and remove the glass, frames and regulators. The old door is just the right height for my left arm.

I would like to find another set of doors just for this reason
