If you have them you know there are restrictions on how the vehicle is to be used, parades, club events etc. Except for the month of August when unlimited use of the vehicle is allowed per S.O.S. Mi.
I use mine occasionally as a driver and my canned answer if I get stopped is :
" I'm test driving it officer. I just rebuilt the carburetor and having some problems sorting out the air/fuel mixture. "
or
" I'm driving it to Hagerty Insurance to see about a policy change, they may want to view the vehicle".

I’ve never been pulled over on my historic or antique plates. Just gotta tell them you are coming to or from repairs or an event.
