Has anyone used the Hi-Lift Bumper Lift on a factory rear bumper?

Will the rear bumper hold, just lifting the vehicle high enough for a tire change?

The hi-lift should be used on metal, not plastic. Some Fwad tried to use my truck to demo their hi-lift, when I wasn't looking and when I still had the OEM plasticola on. They had a hard time extricating the hi-lift out of his, uh, holster when I was done.

Well, I wouldn't presume anyone would try to lift on the plastic end pieces, but I suppose someone has. :

Do you thing the metal part of the rear bumper (I know, rear cross member) would hold?

Either get a real rear bumper, use the hitch (if it sticks out enough) or use a bottle jack.
