Hi, I am Bowen,
I bought this truck as my first truck a couple of months ago. It is a 1995 Toyota pickup with a 22RE. I plan to make a camper out of it (obviously since I am posting here), but I plan to outfit it for fishing trips as I am an avid fly fisherman. I can't wait to get more involved in this community!

Wow, that looks clean. Congratulations. My advice, don't lift it!

Don't worry I am not. This whole off-roading and Overlanding being new to me I thought I needed to, but I read you can get some pretty big tires on without a lift so that is what I'm doing.

33x10.50s and 4.88s and done.

I heard 33s mess up the gearing. I was gonna do 31.5s
The 4.88 is the re-gearing. I have 31s. I like them, but 33s are awesome. I believe 4.11 is the stock gearing. I stuck with 31s for a few reasons but I will also be running sliders and bumpers with stock gears. If I ever go to 33s I will regear. If I add a rear locker, which I probably will, I’ll regear then. But I think the advice you got is perfect. 33s and regear. I’m 42 years old and this is my daily so I’m splitting the difference.
