Hi Folks,
I'm a newbie, I drive a '94 80 series, and live in Idaho. I drive the crap out of this rig, and love it. I have been chasing down a poor idle, hesitation, when warm, w/ code 26 for a while. I will read though all of the posts to see what my next options are. I've spent too much money continually replacing o2 sensors time to start delving into the root cause. Thank you all, and I will read though what's already been posted before asking questions.

Welcome and you have a great attitude about this code. You'll find the answer, I have no doubt. It might few six pack of beer to get through all the threads though!!!

Yep, I figured I already came up with a few logical answers, I don't expect to fix this issue overnight, but it'll be much cooler if I did. Lol.

Let's see some good photos of this rig in its natural idaho habitat.

Start with checking vacuum leaks, intake tube. What are the condition of your cap/rotor/wires/plugs? What is the condition of your wire harness under/near the EGR?

Has nothing to do with your code but check the fluid level of the transmission when warm, might be low.

Thanks man! Need to check for leaks still, but has new cap, rotor, wires, I tested the egr and modulator and they all checked out. I need to test the vsv, and I will take a look at my transmission fluid. That's awesome man thanks for the heads up
