Here is why I missed the 55 Nor Cal run (1 Viewer)

Baxter Pass Eastern Sierras, 12,300' Had a great time, caught a lot of fish, saw big horn sheep, spent time with an old high school friend, got ate up my mosquitos, hiked 46 miles in 5 days.

Here is the LC tech. Going through Big Pine in the Owens Valley CA, saw an FJ45 pickup parked in the middle of town on the Eastern side of State Route 395 next to an auto repair garage. Long bed, and removalable top, I think. Looked like it was in great shape. In that part of California, high deseart, it most likely will be little rust. To tired to stop and ask questions.

That 45 has been there in Big Pine the last 3 years at least. Every time through, we comment on it. It sounds like you had a great trip.
