I got a little more done recently. I’ve fixed / repaired the floor below the fuel tank. I’ve replaced the shocks, finished the valley hybrids Toyota mini truck box power steering conversion, cleaned up a bit under the hood. I also picked up some steelies with hubcaps and mounted new tires. It should do a lot for the period correct look I’m going for.

This 40 was mostly complete but there’s been a few things I’ve had to work on to get it to where I want It. One of those things is an air filter housing that I was Able to source locally. It’ll really help with under the hood. In earlier posts, I mentioned That the 40 came with a Weber carb and I’ve gone with a stock style from city racer to fix the running issues it had.

I’ll be dropping it off at the body shop this week and can’t wait to see it when it gets back.
