I purchased a 76 FJ40 and had the frame sandblasted. After all the grease was removed I saw one of the helper springs was cracked. Can anyone identify the manufacture of this spring so I can replace it. The prior owner had them on all four corners, so I was planning to replace the broken one.
Any help will be appreciated.

Those Add-a-leaf springs were made for Downey Off Road Mfdg. by Hellwig Mfg. in California. We had those spring made to help old tired stock springs BEFORE other new leaf spring assemblies became available. Those add-a-leafs do nothing for ride quality, and if Hellwig can't make a replacement for you, you'd be better off getting a fresh set of new spring assemblies.
