I swapped out a 1970 F engine for a 1975 2F engine and now have a major oil leak. On the 2F there is a T coming off the outlet for the oil temperature sending unit that has sort of a compression fitting on it. When I run the engine, oil spurts out of the end. I did not have anything like on the F engine, so I do not know what goes there. I have not been able to find anything in my Haynes or Factory manuals. Anybody know what goes on there?

oil TEMP or oil PRESSURE??? My guess is the Previous Owner ran a mechanical gauge off that T fitting...plug it up, or remove the T and insert the factory fitting directly into the block. (Make sure it IS the factory fitting - don't wanna bugger up any threads!)

Oil pressure

Yep, Oil Pressure sending unit. Sorry about that. Thanks for the quick reply. I will plug it & go. Glad it's an easy fix.
