I am trying to finish my restoration of my hardtop so I can leave on 10/29 for Elk hunting. I need to find some rivets to attach the top to the metal visor. What have other people used??? I wonder it regular old rivets would work....and then just use some caulk.. ?? thanks

I will check back in a little bit.

thanks

Ryan

I did that. Not great, but it works.

I believe that CCOT sells exactly the rivets you need.

Andrew, thanks that's what I needed to know. I knew about the coolcruisers one for the side of the top but I needed to be able to find the other ones,.

I used small panhead screws and nuts with lock washers. I put them in the holes with silicone sealant with the nuts inside. It looks just fine.

You just need a wide, large aluminum rivet. Instead of caulk, use flexible seam sealer from 3M, available at any auto body paint shop.

Texx, that is exactly what I have leftover from doing the tub swap this summer. I need to decide whether to base/clear the white top, or just single stage it???
