O.K. Guys.. I posted about 3 weeks ago about my 80 series starting fine, and holding idle, but then stalling out when more fuel was given to the old girl.. ..
People at the time thought it might be gelling.. it made sense... I added a litre of Kerosene... De-Gel... Anti-Gel.. things seemed to be better... the weather got better and between all of this the truck started to run WAY WAY better...
Since then the weather got a little cooler and the truck ran fine..... Now that it has gotten colder the a witches tit here (-29C and minus 40C with the windchill) it is pulling the same sh*t again..
Although not as bad as it was the last time.... but still stalling out and really pissing me off..is there anyway there is water in the system?? how do I check it?? any other suggestions?? algae?? how do I check it??
I parked the truck in a underground parking lot tonight for a couple of hours, and it cleared up great.. then 20 min later on the way home I could tell it was acting up again... I'm no mechanice by anymeans, but I can try things if you can describe them to me.. thanks again for trying to help... all the best..
sorry for the long post...
