Thanks all for the replies...think I'm gonna let this one walk!!! Lack of inventory in my price range might have been skewing my judgement a bit. I was trying to convince myself that it was better than records appeared, but ultimately I'd rather wait for the "right" one as opposed to settling for the "right now" one. Currently, very few options in my area so I guess the search continues!!!

I genuinely appreciate all of your input!

Don't be sad, I've made very bad choices before out of desperation myself and It's a particularly terrible time to be a buyer.
If it was any old car i wouldn't be so against it, but you have a potential for decade or more of trouble free use from a sorted 200.
Shame to forgo the best part of owning one. Look at local listings MUD and FB like mentioned. Private sale is always smoother and less likely to be ripped off.
