Help with re-tint (1 Viewer)

Ok, I know better than to do it myself. Question is... Has anyone removed, or had a pro remove, liftgate tint? Looks pretty permanent. I'm going to have it retinted dark gray, and wonder if that mirrored bronze stuff is gonna come off!

I've already done a search... didn't find anything 80-specific.

Brian - as far as I know the glass is imbedded with the tint from the factory.No problem however applying an aftermarket tint film however. Have done this to a couple of my old cruisers in the past with great results!! -Tim

I agree with Magnetguy, I don't think you can remove the tint, you can add tint to it though.

I tinted the rear window glass over the top of the factory stuff, the factory coating is not an applied 'tint film' I thik it's actually in the glass.
