Help with Master Cylinder differences (1 Viewer)

Yesterday my '99 LC lit up the ABS/BRAKE light and sounded the brake death alarm. I am combing through various threads and part sources try to figure out if I want to replace the whole assembly or rebuild the master and buy a new pump. I found I need some clarification on the parts listed for my rig.

If I wanted to replace the whole assembly, I have found these part numbers for my '99:

47050-60010 - Actuator Assembly
- LAND CRUISER
- Master Cylinder, Cylinder Assembly Brake
- Includes: Accumulator & Pump
- Replaces: 47210-60010
- 01/1998-07/1999

47050-60012 - Actuator Assembly
- Master Cylinder, Cylinder Assembly Brake
- W/O STABILITY CTRL
- 07/1999-08/2002

47050-60041 - Master Cylinder
- LAND CRUISER; W/VEHICLE SKID CONTROL
- Actuator Assembly, Cylinder Assembly Brake
- Includes: Accumulator & Pump

These parts are priced similarly, but not the exact same. What is the difference between them? Is SKID CONTROL ABS?

You've got a 99. It has 3 ports for the master cylinder unit because no ABS.

The ABS unit 00+ has 4 ports because Atrac+ABS

My 99 does have ABS, but no ATRAC obviously. I understand the 3 port vs 4 port master cylinder difference.

The master cylinder part numbers I posted above are listed for the 99. I believe the 60012 and 60041 are for a late 99 (or 2000 MY) when VSC and ATRAC were being introduced for the 2000 model year, but I was hoping for verification due to the parts description verbiage.

Are all the part numbers above for US models or have you included other country models?

These part numbers were pulled from the parts listing at Camelback, McGeorge, and Toyota Parts Deal for a 1999 LC. These are US parts distributors.

For kicks, I search for the MC for an 04 LC and only one part number pops up.

To put some closure on this thread, part 47050-60010 was a duplicate of the OEM and fit my 99 without a problem.
