help with marine engine

hey guys, a friend of mine is having troubles with his boat. its a 42 horse power 4 cylinder pathfinder marine diesel engine. last time an attempt was made to start it was about 6 months ago, and it didnt start. the engine kept turning but didnt start. it still has plenty of fuel, and we cant figure out what the hell the problem is. can anyone help?????

Remove an injector line carefully at the injector end and turn the engine over .You should see fuel dribble out.
If not,you have air in the system which needs to be purged.
You will have find the correct bleeding procedure for your engine.
Basically you start at the filter and work toward the injectors. There should be a hand pump on the filter or inj pump

There can be other things that will stop and engine such as low oil switch,fuel cut solenoid and valves on fuel lines from the tank.
It could also be the glow plugs if it has them
