I have an '82 FJ40 and was cleaning up a few things before putting her in storage for the winter. I noticed that several of the vacuum hoses were broken off of the valves. If she has been running ok I was wondering if I should try to replace the valves (most of which are not even made anymore) or just plug up the disconnected /broken lines.

This one is the VCV valve.

This one is a Valve Sub-assy, High Altitude Compensator?? Why this is even in my truck is beyond me.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

You have all winter to look for these valves used. That's what I would do.
