Help with BJ40 Price (1 Viewer)

I have a neighbor that had a 1977 BJ40 imported about 7 years ago from Costa Rica. The body has some rust spots but nothing to bad. The frame is in good condition too. What would be a good price for one?

This one looks like it's worth closer to $15,000 than $1,000. Assuming it runs and has not been badly "modified", $10,000 would be a good price (for the buyer).

It hasn’t really been modified and runs. He had to use in case he had to bug out and that it could still run in case of an EMP.

Ahhhh the typical reasons to own a 40.

Guess he doesn't feel the need to bug out any more or is no longer anticipating a large electro magnetic pulse.....this could work in your favor.
