Im having problems figuring out how to complete the wiring tie from the arb mounted signal lights to the signal lights in the truck. the wiring supplied from arb doesnt seem to be just a plug and play clip.

any photos or quick description for me to get these signal lights up and "blinking"

you should have received instructions. i never connected mine because the type of connectors that it brings are the type that you break (cut) into the insulation by squeezing the connector over the wire not to weatherproof. you would have to use heat shrink or rewire it properly. if you need the instructions, let me know.

I did the disco mod to make the lights alternate when headlights are on. i cut the wires and used a butt splice and shrink wrap to reattach.

I think this came from CDAN:
The disco mod is the you connect the blue bumper wire to the green wire going into the corner light. Connect the brown bumper wire to the green wire going into the blinker light. Then replace the #1156 bulb supplied with a #67. By doing so it should result in a "disco" effect - when headlight/parking light are on, the blinker and bumper lights alternate. When the headlight/parking light are off, the blinker and bumper flash together.

Tell me more about this "disco" mod. What is the purpose? Increased visibility? I'm just trying to get a mental image.

Thanks,
Jay

No purpose except it looks cool. I made this video to try to show what it looks like. The bumper and signal lights blink together when the lights are off and opposite when the lights are on. Sorry the video sucks. :)

And here is a thread from when I did it. https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=151063
