So after reading up on the last time I asked about overriding the glow screen I am now faced with a decision. I have unplugged the sensor so the screen will always turn on for the full cycle. I however forsee some problems with this, such as batterie drain before starting and unnessacarily using the screen. I am asuming that the swich ala stickboy is the best way, but I am not sure and the prospect of cutting into electrical is very intimidating to me. I am not afraid to try stuff but I HATE electrical because I know nothing about this. It all seems pretty simple but... Anyway I would like your opinions on the best way to go and any things to watch out for with the sensor unplugged. thanks again all!

The pre-start full power to the screen is only on for as long as you leave the key in the on position or untill the timer switches to low power at about 15 sec. If you don't need the full power heating, then don't pause in the on position on start. The low power heating reduces unburned fuel on start so I don't see it as a problem.
