"Yes, I agree that its a total loss. I would like to buy it back for X% of market." Then drive it for another 500k miles because that damage is nothing. Go to a dent removal place and ask them to get it close. Do not let someone cut the roof off, that's crazy.Took the truck to the local deal collision center. In addition to the dent in the doorframe a/pillar there is also a dent on the roof I missed. The guy thinks the truck will be a total as they may have to lift off the roof. Will know this week....
USAA is my insurance.
Thanks. I think the roof removal is more related to the sunroof, but not 100% sure. I should get the estimate today or tomorrow. Mostly likely will need to look for comps for market value. The truck is in otherwise great shape inside and out - and I put $1500 into in mechanically about a year ago."Yes, I agree that its a total loss. I would like to buy it back for X% of market." It is a 2000. Thank you, there is one near me as well I should be able to source if it becomes an issue.Depends on the year. New glass for the 1st gen 100 is NLA. You can still get the seal to freshen up a used glass panel. There's a 100 sitting at LKQ in Greenville, SC.
Insurance estimate was $842 just for the glass. FYI. Hope that helps. Sorry to hear about it - glad you were not hurt.It is a 2000. Thank you, there is one near me as well I should be able to source if it becomes an issue.
Thank you and yeah I appreciate it, me too! that included labor also or just the glass itself?Insurance estimate was $842 just for the glass. FYI. Hope that helps. Sorry to hear about it - glad you were not hurt.
They have 0.3 hours of labor associated next to the price - see attached. Later in the estimate they list 3.3 hours of glass labor for $150 total labor.Thank you and yeah I appreciate it, me too! that included labor also or just the glass itself?
