hello all, I have a 99-2000 model landcruiser and the AC is not working.

when i swich on the AC, the compressor starts and stop within 5 seconds and the AC switch light begins to blink continuosly.

The 134a Gas level was checked using guage meter by the Ac electrician and he confirmed it ok.

Please i need help to get the problem solved.

Hell NMuzj100,

I check the AC diagnostic as directed and here is what i got.

REAR FAN SWITCH and POSITION 2 on the fan speed dial are lit.

NMuzj100, thanks again. i just talk to my AC tech man and it appears he doesn't know these position. can you still help me out with the circuit location?

I had the blinking A/C light it was a seized compressor that was the culprit. I scored a complete nippondenso compressor and dryer - next day air to my door for $360.00. It was not cheap to install.

The technician should be able to tell if it is a seized compressor, but then again my local guy could not figure it out so I had to take it to Toyota and they were kind enough to give me the good news in exchange for $90.

I will get back my findings after checking the all.
