help taking of the BJ74 hardtop off (1 Viewer)

hey all,

this is my first post, well i been have a hard time taking off the hard top.
4 bolts by the back door were taking of
4 bolts at the midle rolloff bar
4 bolts at the top of the windshild.

i tried to take it of but it seems that it is stuck some how or there are bolt that i have missed. help and suggestion are appreciated.

did you remove the ones behind the FRP pop off symbol?

you mean the sympol behind the door from the out side? No!! did not know there is bults there, anything else?

If i remember correctly there are 4 Bolts in rear corners, 4 behind the trim panels on both sides, 4 on roll bar, 4 above the windshield, and one behind the FRP sign on the outside of the top on both sides. When you put it back on, tighten the bolts then go for a drive on a rough road, the top will settle a bit, you should be able to snug the top down a bit more.

That FRP sign is made from very brittle plastic.
