I'm pretty good with most parts, but I can't work out how to identify and thus source specific electrical connectors.

Does anyone have one of these lying around, moneys no issue, or does someone know how to work out the part number of the connector and it's two terminals? It's from the air filter sensor 89593-60030.

Is it held in by a thread?

I meant where it goes into the sensor.

oh, you mean where the grey plastic meets the white plastic in the photo... not sure, if it has a thread then its glued in as well, as I couldn't remove it. but if it had a thread, unscrewing it might bugger up wires to the terminals.

Looks a lot like the plugs used with the VSV. You may just want to go to your local pick-n-pull and cut a few pigtails. That is what I did for a few of those odds and ends.

Years ago also snagged a complete engine harness from a 1991 Cruiser which I still pilfer connectors and wire from as needed.

if i was back in oz i'd do that, but here in Peru there's no such thing unfortunately

Maybe this will help you find the right one:

Wire Harness Repair Manual

Connector overvieuw starts at page 80
OMG, thank you sir for presenting me with the almighty holy grail! I thought i had all the manuals and was wondering why the whole connector thing was still beyond my comprehension.... this will serve me far beyond sourcing this one connector! Thank you!!!!!!!!!
