When this happened on my TBI install, we had been dumping gas down the TBI to start it. So I bought a completely new TBI wiring harness from Jeff at Techrods, installed it and everything works like a charm. By the way the old gas in mine was jello and I had to dump it, by the time the harness arrived. Fresh gas and brand new harness sure did the trick.
