How to do a disc brake conversion on a 1969 fj40, any advice and photos of the dual master cylinder with booster installed in place would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Are you looking for front and rear? Just rear ?

R u doing the work?

You need a spacer to move the booster past the rib (yours hasn’t been cut yet correct?)

Booster spacer
Booster (city racer has those )
Vac line to booster
Bung to attach onto your intake manifold
Adjust booster rod correctly
Adjustable proportioning valve
Ceramic rear pads for less rear braking
Lines to seperate onebline system to a two line system
New rear lines to attach onto calipers
79’ GM M Carlo calipers
Rear disc bracket (poser)
Rear rotor cut to fit axle (poser has those)

I am most likely forgetting several things lol

If your not too confident in doing it ... there is a guy not too far ... in north pownal vt that works on cruiser who is good with price

I think there are several threads with pics in the FAQ

I am installing disc brakes all around, that is done as well as the new brake master cylinder kit wth booster from JT suppliers. I am not sure how to hook up the throttle cable to the carburetor or how to do the plumbing for the vacuum to the booster. Any help is much appreciated as well as any pictures of one finished. I inherited this project from the previous owner.
