These caliper are on a rear disc brake setup on my 40. Can anyone ID what they are so I can replace them?

I’m thinking these might be Monte Carlo calipers after looking at some threads. Any input?

they look it ive got 1978, monte on my 77 fj, jto brackets, rotors will need to be turned to open the axle hole..

Check out the rear disc brake installs for the FJ40, and you'll see what all parts were used to accomplish this mod. That caliper is pretty much the "standard" go to for this modification. The special bracket to hold the "metric" caliper is also typical. I've done this mod myself. There should also be a diverter valve very near the master cylinder going to the rear brakeline plumbing to lower the amount of fluid pressure to the rear caliper so that it won't lock up too soon.

why replace? they look usable , check rubbers and hoses ,maybe tape off parts/ wire brush prime and paint. pads look good
