How can I tell what year an fj45 is from the exterior.
It has the round headlight and grille surround, single piece side windows and wipers that come up from the bottom of the windscreen panel.

Is that a Monet?

I'm just being an arse...It does look nice from the pic. Would look good in the man cave behind the bar. Does it have the late style (post '76) turn signals and mirrors?

I think it has the pre 76 turn signals but im not sure about the mirrors.

wipers at the bottom of the windscreen started in 1975
round headlight bezel ended in end of Dec 1978
so it is between those years in the US

I thought Ausie trucks had vent windows in the doors

Thanks 3 Puppies,
I think that the majority of Australian 40s did have vent windows but some of them don't.

Interesting in Australia the doors changed to one piece 7/74 six months ahead most of the rest of the world.

From what I can tell Australia dropped the vent window when the door style changed for a few years and then was added again.
