Help clutch slave (1 Viewer)

Ok I have 01/84 Canadian BJ60 and the clutch slave is the small one ... BUT I put in a new one in and it blows out the end as soon as you pump it up .... the stroke look like the 11-84 anyone know if the bolt pattern is the same???? This truck was made from at least 4 truck so I wander if maybe the bellhousing is a different length ???or what is up

Can you swap rods to get the right length? . I think the bolt patterns were all the same, I seem to remember using a BJ7* cyl assy on a 1HZ gearbox, but a long time ago. The 7* series use the same types.
Is yours a 4sp or 5sp?

31470 CYLINDER ASSY, CLUTCH RELEASE
31470-60110 (10/1981 - 10/1984)
31470-60120 (11/1984 - 09/1985)

And there are different rods which seem to match the cyl assy years
Number 2 doesnt have a year attached to it.

5 speed H55 ... this small body doesn’t seem to have the throw to match the master ... that why I was thinking the longer body would fit better. At full this the piston pops out of the body
