Hi, my name's Dan and my wife and I live in Phoenix...We are currently looking to pick up an FJ80 and I found one on a craigslist ad...

Guy's name is Pablo and here is his ad...

1994 Toyota Landcruiser

I was wondering if there was someone who would be able to go and check this ride out for me before I make the 8 hour 400+ mile trek out there to pick it up...

Feel free to give me a call or text at 602.515.1997 so we can work it out...

Thanks...Dan

I can look at it if you can wait until Sunday of this week (my first day off).

If you need some advice sooner, then I'm out.

Let me know.

Do not go for a 1991. You will regret it. Go for 1993 to 1997 to get the 1FZFE powerplant. Just my honest opinion.

I would agree with Beno on this. From memory, the 1991-92 FJ-80's 3FE powerplant is rated at something like 150 horsepower. The '93-97 FZJ-80 1FZ-FE engine is rated at 212 hp.

Especially if you're like most of us and start loading up with bumpers, winch, bigger tires, etc, you will want that extra power.
