I have a hard time telling, locked up vs not locked up.

Interesting, FSM says transmission temperature warning light doesn't come on until 302*F! Reset for light is 248*F. I take that as below 248*F you are OK. Perhaps I'm overreacting. Still going to change fluid.

Awesome thank you! I was also given a nice riv-nut tool by my neighbor for the club to pass around if anyone needs for something. Its the scissor handle type so you can really get a good connection

A couple pieces of angle iron works too. You have to cut them to 30-somthing inches. It's in the fsm.

I was doing something similar with string alignment but set up took longer. The ones I got now work on multiple vehicles too. Just an ease of use purchase for me.

On a different note, my transmission temperature has increase around 15 degrees give or take 5 degrees at 70mph. I'm running around 210*F recently. On my trip to Hatteras at 70mph I was just below 200*F. On my trip to big levels when offroad, no temperature issues but this was the first time on highway I noticed it above 200*F. It seems it's getting to 200*F faster at highway speeds in the last couple weeks. I ordered transmission fluid last night. When I installed the Wholesale Automatic transmission nomad valve body, I changed the fluid at that time, 2 years ago. I am running through the cooler on the radiator and then to my PDI front mount cooler. I installed the blue hub radiator fan before my Hatteras trip. Reading I've done is pointing to my torque converter. Thoughts?

Rpms are higher now with gear change. Trans temps will go up to. Totally normal

Somewhere I have some angle that I drilled out to be able to bolt right up with my lug nuts
