Hi! I thought that I would introduce myself. My name is Chad and I just bought a 1997 40th Anniv Ed w/ 118k mi. I love it. I have built and wheeled Toyota's before, but this is my first FJ (FZJ... you know what I mean). I'm def excited for the new challenge. Please feel free to let me in on all your little tricks, I could use them.

Doug nailed it and you should get the parts ordered ASAP and start planning a couple of hours to get this taken care of.

After reading some of the post on the subject, I'm glad that is the way it happend... If it went up in flames I would have been pissed!

Oh, I respect Land Rovers... I just like Toyotas better. My 85 4Runners plates where JP RESQ and I used to run with the local Jeep club! I was outnumbered, but after most of them were on the wrong end of my winch they kept their mouths shut!
