Besides different advance curves and larger cap to prevent arcing, what is the difference between using a GM HEI distributor and using a Flamethrower, Pertronix or MSD high energy coil with a late model Toyota distributor? Is the placement of the coil in the cap that much more efficient than using a remote coil?
