Heater valve (1 Viewer)

How stiff should the heater valve be. This one is very stiff and does not operate properly when hooked to the cable.

Not so stiff that it can't be operated with the cable. Replace it.

Should not be stiff. There's a plunger inside that fails/corrodes.

Thanks guys. Soaked it overnight in sunlight and water then lubed the pivot. Smooth as butter.

Look inside with a light make sure the seal hasn’t broken down.
