Does anyone know if I can drop the heater blower motor from a 1970 FJ40 into the housing if a 74?

Not sure. 70 has a metal housing while 74 is plastic. I see a motor change 9/73 with the plastic housing change.

Thanks, yeah I did see that there was some change after 73, but I’m hoping that the blower motor will still fit
