This is very cool, and I can see the useage scenario big time for a "work truck"/yard worker etc.

But you know what my surf reeeeaallly needs? It needs a way to lock in 2nd gear on the automatic so I can pull off in 2nd gear low range.
Offroad there are scenarios where 1st Low is TOOOO low (wheelspin), 1st high is tooooo high, 2nd Low would be just perfect, but placing the shifter in 2 means you start in 1.

Does such a thing exist for 3rd gens?
