Hi

Is there any difference betwenn right an left headlamp and headlamp "buckets"?
ToyoDIY.com
the partnumbers confuses me.
it states 2 different partnumbers for LH and RH. Is this for Right and Left Hand drive vehicles or simply ringt and left headlamp?

Assuming you've got the correct model number; BJ42-LV-MCW for your truck, the L stands for Left Hand Drive.
So the different part numbers for this truck are for the right (Right Hand) and left (Left Hand) headlights.
It's an European truck so all countries had white bulbs and only France had yellow bulbs.
The difference between flat and non flat is the angle to the right side of the road. The flat beams shine equaly from left to right.
The non flat beams shine from left to a bit more higher on the right. This way it's easier to see road signs on the right shoulder of the road.
The only different part number is the (mounting) ring 81113 or 81153.

Hope this helps a bit.

Rudi

yes the model number are correct.
The confusion begain when I choose the EPC for a Right Hand drive car and it stated the same partnumbers? I have on good and one very bad headlight bucket (mounting ring) and they both look the same too me.

Ok finally got it.
Some times a little thick headed :)
The difference between LH and LH mounting ring is the 3 little notches that mates to the 3 tabs of the light.
They are rotated 270'
So if one was to mount 2 LH rings the RH lamp would shine to the right instead of down.
