After years of indecision, be finally pulled the trigger on a turbo for the old girl.

Genie headers were loud and the truck has always needed a bit more power.

So, question is: Studs or bolts and why?

Headers were on with bolts so I’m looking at sourcing studs/nuts if need be.

Never been closer.

Bit of a Chinese finger puzzle getting the sequence of studs-manifold-gaskets installed.

1-3 and upper 4 studs in first or the manifold won’t clear the firewall for install.

Lower number 4, 5 and 6 studs in after the manifold was hung on the head. “Take ‘yer time” lol.

Would have been much easier to just pull the stove and do the install and slam it all back in.

Who wants to do that? Lol

So studs it is… disaster averted.
