Finishing up the restoration of my '77 and need to find the inserts for the head rests to slide into. Mine were missing. Any ideas folks?

Those are the plugs that fill the opening on the seats when headrests are there. Not sure when they became standard but to start with there were a option. Have 71 seats I can feel where a headrest would slip in. The slots are there but because there were offered in the US the opening is sealed from the factory. 9/72 they became a option and slots were there just filled with plugs it the cruiser didn't have headrests. I would remove the back panel on the seat and see if any sign of the headrest slots. Seen many picture of seats being recovered and slots gone. What they done across caps the headrest slip into I don't know. These are not flush but stick out. Never explored how the slots are mounted to the seat frame.
