Wanted HDJ81 Trailer Light Adapters (1 Viewer)

Looking for a trailer light kit made to fit the HDJ81. Is there such a thing, or will I have to splice some sort of universal kit into the pigtail?

I got the Hopkins kit.

My 90 HDJ was not plug and play, due to the fact the plugs on the lights harness did not match the Hoppy Kit.

However, what I did was I had a rear tail light wiring harnesses for the LH and RH sides from a 97 USDM 80 Series and used that.

That made it plug and play

Just to be clear, the harness for each tail light is what I'm talking about. Each Tail light has a harness for the 3 lights, Turn, Stop/Marker, and Reverse.
The main harness is split into 2 rear main harnesses. So when you remove the rear lights, you unplug the light harness from the Main, Rear Harness.
The Hoppy Harness connects to the main harness connector. The plug is not the same but the pin out is the same.
Finally, plug in the 97 Tail Light Harness to the Hoppy Harness and you're set.

It was truly PNP and I didnt splice anything except I have an auxiliary backup light that I spliced in.

Used the Grommet underneath to fish the Trailer Connecter.
