the white 81 cleared customs and is sitting at Hansens waiting for the train... eta is end of next week (if all goes as planned)...

a bit of back ground:
worse case example for me was when i had a rag top BJ40 up for sale. the price tag was $20,000 and i had a bloke show up and waste an entire morning and he had, get this, a budget of $10,000. to me that was a terrible insult and that was when my patence with "tire kickers"came to an end.

when a vehicle is priced at $32,000 and your budget is $30,000 then you are in the ball park and not insulting the unit in question. in this situation i look at it, if you have $30G and you look at the unit, appreciate the shape it is in, realise the first person warranty that comes with the unit as well as the advice, manuals etc then if i am in the right frame of mind i might just let it go or you might say "i can come up with the other $2G to buy the unit"...
what means more than a full price sale is the person i am selling the unit to. a great "sob" story can melt my frozen heart or someone that knows what he wants and it is obvious he will look after a unit then the price can move...

i look at the units i sell as rare, if the buyer is the type of guy that will take a highend unit and beat the snot out of it then there is a very good chance i won't sell it to him, i will wait for the right person to come along that will appreciate what he is getting...

i guess i really am an oddball when it comes to how i run my business...

...i am getting this feeling we have chatted in the past...

cheers
