NEW PRICE 7000$

Up for sale is my 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser diesel (hdj81) with 1hdt 4.2 turbo diesel.

- 178 XXX miles ( this will change since I still drive it daily)
- Automatic trans
- Center diff lock , Front locker and Rear Locker
- Air conditioning (will need recharge)
- Center console fridge (with ice tray!)
- Sun roof
- power door locks
- suede interior
- Pioneer in dash navigation unit with new speakers
- altimeter and compass
- rear tire carrier
- power windows
- window rain deflectors

The bad:
-Has a power steering leak
-A/c needs a recharge
-Timing belt will need to be redone soon ( I could change it for cheap )
-Worst part.. Will need a new upper tailgate and the roof will need to be worked on and repainted.(The four coners have rust and the top of the roof is missing some paint)

The good:
- Motor is very strong and healthy (starts immediately even when not plugged in the winter)
- Has the center, front and rear lockers
- Has 5 newer michelin LTX tires on.
- BEB's (bottom end bearings have been done on the motor)
- Frame is clean
- Has the larger front brake upgrade 100 series

Other than the roof rust and the upper hatch (replaceable and cheap + only cosmetic) the truck is very reliable and is ready to go. I just came back yesterday from a 950 mile trip and the truck averaged 22 mpg on what was a hilly trip.

The truck is located in Ottawa Canada which is only 1 hour away from Ogdensburg New York. I can deliver it to the border if needed.

Price is 7500$ US funds or best offer.

Will post more pictures.

I would like your guys' input on pricing. Is 9400$ too high? If so what's a more reasonable price ?

Oh man that is awesome! I'd love to have a diesel 80 series. Good luck with the sale. Bump for sweet rig.

Ha! Wish I could. I just bought and had a remanufactured long block, body work, paint, and some other odds and ins in my 1994 gasser. I love diesel vehicles. Just didn't have any around me for sale at the time.

Great price ,drive train alone is worth more then that !

The truck is currently stored away I dont have any other underbody pics other than these two at the moment . Mostly fastners and brackets here and there that have surface rust. The frame is still nice and black. Its nothing more than a little wire brush here and there with some paint and it will look new again.Couple year old tacomas here look worse than this truck.

I received a 7500$ offer that I accepted but have not heard back after that.
At 7500$ you re getting a 1hdt+trans in very good working condition, front and rear axles locked and not to mention all the other jdm goodies that these trucks come with (tire carrier, suede seats, altimeter/compasss,center console fridge/freezer, to name a few..)

Oh and just received the new brakes all around with the upgraded 100 series fronts. If it doesn't sell within the next week or two I'll most likely sand blast the rusted areas on the roof, get the top painted and keep it for a while (aka begin the modifications).

Picture of my two trucks together.

Nice deal, this is an honest HDJ81 that can be used as intended! Wish I could buy it!

Did an acsd delete today and she idles even better and throttle response is better as well.No metal shavings found in the ip which is good. I also tested the 3 lockers today and they still work

Yes!
Don't ask about the mitsubishi batteries.. I bought the truck with them in there. The bay isn't all shinny because theres a thick layer of rustproofing sprayed all around the bay to prevent rust formation.

Gunk around the vin plate is rust proofing grime.
